I love coffee, but coffee with coconut oil takes it to a new level.
Hear me out.
I’ve taken breaks from coffee throughout my life. The first time was for lent years ago. Then I stopped for both of my pregnancies and cut back considerably during my years of infertility.
I recommend to everyone they try taking a break from caffeine to see how their body responds. I did it and I missed it every day during all of those stretches!
Yes, I’ve tried tea and every coffee alternative you can think of. I’ve tried decaf (which usually is somewhat toxic by the way because of the process of removing the caffeine). I’ve tried chai tea, herbal tea and Yerba mate. I’ve tried mushroom and chicory. None of them did it for me.
I just wanted my coffee.
I love the routine and the comfort of coffee. I do love the caffeine but that’s only a part of it (an important part!). I only have two small cups a day, but I enjoy the heck out of those cups.
I also like to find ways to make anything I consume healthier, so this method of making my coffee with coconut oil literally changed my life!
Yes, I tend to exaggerate, but this time I’m not. This was eye opening and life changing. This method is the only way I’ve ever found of not using creamer!
While I use the healthiest creamer I can find, I still prefer to limit the dairy I eat. While I love almond milk, I don’t like almond milk creamers. Or soy milk or coconut milk. They just don’t stand up to coffee fo me! That means finding a way to decrease the creamer I use is key.
This method of preparing coffee also adds healthy fats and protein, which keeps me full longer AND counteracts the “crash and burn” effects of caffeine. This means your body can process the caffeine more efficiently and you are left with longer and more sustained energy.
YES PLEASE.
I love how it tastes and it only takes me a few more seconds than stirring creamer into my coffee anyway.
Yes, it may seem weird (you’ll have the watch the video to see what I’m talking about!) but trust me on this one.
You HAVE to try this and tell me what you think!

Sounds great! Will try. Always looking for something other than creamer!
I hope you love it!
Amazing! Was recently searching for a way to enjoy my coffee without sugar! Will definitely try this! Thankful for you!
It really is amazing! Thanks for being here 🙂
I was hesitant about this recipe but tried it anyway. It was delicious and very light. Regular coffee will never taste as good as this!
Going to try it, looks great!
