Fitness clothing review!

Hi everyone!  When I was thinking of all the things I loved about this week, most had to do with clothes!  So I just decided today would be a quick tour of some new editions to the fitness and casual wear wardrobe over here…

My new Cory Vines racerback tank and cropped leggings

Cory Vines

I have been wanting to try this brand for a while now, and finally purchased them online a few weeks ago.  First off, the customer service was great and shipping (even to Hawaii!) was super affordable and quick.  And it came with the cute little card you see in the picture 🙂  I basically LIVED in this outfit the last three days before we moved.  I taught a workshop in it, filmed a barre video, taught class, went for a run and loaded a 20 foot container before cleaning the house top to bottom.  They fit great and dried quickly when I got sweaty.  They are so comfortable and never felt too tight or restrictive.  And the cost will NOT break the bank.  I can’t wait to place my second order.  I may have found a new best friend…

This is another brand I’ve wanted to try for a while.  There is a Lorna Jane store 3 miles from our house here in California, so I popped in the other day.  I had to rush in and out pretty quickly and didn’t get a chance to really browse, but I did find this tank I love and it was on sale (yippee!) for $25.  When I took it out to wash it I found this little heart sewed to the inside of the tank!  I’m guessing this is something they do regularly to their clothes, and it made me really happy :).

These Onzie cropped leggings

Onzie_leggings_reviewI bought these at Wanderlust on the North Shore a couple months ago and am kind of obsessed with them.  The pattern makes me smile every time I see them, and they are sooooo comfortable.  They are a very thin material that feels almost like water when it’s on.  They were developed for Bikram yoga specifically due to their quick drying.  I don’t do Bikram but have used them for everything else and they work great.  I think they would be awesome for SUP yoga or Pilates because they dry so fast.  (Note: little nugget wanted to be held all morning and snuck in the picture.  She’s the more fashionable one anyway with those boots!  Sassy sister.)

This beach glass bangle from a dear friend

beach_glass_bangleI am so lucky to have numerous friends that make beautiful jewelry.  I had collected this beach glass from Waimanalo beach the first week we moved to Hawaii, and it had been in a bowl in my dresser since then.  When we decided to move, I knew I wanted something to bring with me.  My friend made this beautiful bangle for me out of the glass, so I can now bring Hawaii with me wherever I go.

I would love to hear of any new brands or styles you have found recently, or old ones you love!  I basically live in workout wear, so bring it on 🙂

Have a great weekend!
