My Favorite Salad Dressing

Do you ever get caught in the grocery store vortex?

You know that thing where you end up standing in the middle of an aisle, staring at the shelves, not sure where to even begin?

That’s me with the salad dressings.

They all look so amazing and intriguing! Yes, I would love that creamy caesar! Ohhh a champagne vinaigrette that promises to taste restaurant quality! What? A new all natural ranch dressing? Sign me up!

I don’t end up buying any of them. You know why?

I read the labels.

Seriously, even the most natural bottled salad dressings have random ingredients like guar gum, corn syrup, corn starch and sugar.

So I sigh and walk away, knowing that it will take me less time and be healthier to make my own dressing at home than read through every label and buy a store bought dressing.

The bonus? It tastes better anyway!

Here is the recipe for my go-to salad dressing. I try to make a batch over the weekend and just keep it in the refrigerator. For the times that doesn’t work, I just mix a little in the bowl and then toss the salad!

Easy, healthy, delicious and much less stressful than the grocery store vortex.
